That is so sad and unfortunate. And yes, like her mother said, "Children are off-limits"
It's one thing to heckle a fan of the opposing team, but let alone and 8 year old boy and to tackle him? Shame on that man. He needs to spend a day or two in jail for Drunk and Disorderly and assualting a minor.
DH and I were at a Walleye playoff game last year and there was a girl maybe 10-12 sitting with her family and she was cute trying to rally the team up (they were losing) and when the Walleye goalie let like 3 pucks in the span of like 5 minutes she was saying it's ok, we can come back we'll get the next puck...
this guy (like 20something) started yelling at her that she didn't anything about hockey, she was stupid and just calling her names and she sat down and it was so mean.
DH stood up and said she's 12 get over yourself it's hockey and then DH and the guy started yelling and some other guy came to Timot/and the girls defense and finally they were asked to leave. Seriously...sport nut jobs are nut jobs.
