Re: Thankful Thursday
As always, DH, my family & friends.
But to mix it up a little, I'm also thankful for...
~Outlook reminders
~Fresh fruit
~The new perfume/body spray I got for my birthday that I looove
~The babies & kids I get to 'borrow'
~My camera
~a patient husband
~a loving family
~whoever left chocolate browines and truffles in the work fridge.
j, family, and friends (as always)
being able to sleep in on sunday(my only day off this weekend...thank goodness!)
going to harry potter with my bffs on sunday afternoon
the bottle of jack daniels in my cupboard.... that's for after i get home from work on black friday
~
I am thankful:
for having a vehicle at my disposal today...
that we have the means to live as nicely as we do
for my healing and recovering mom who is making strides to be in better health to see my children grow up.
For the fisher price service people who were so kind and friendly to me when I called about a broken toy today.
That to me Thanksgiving means more than complaining about hating turkey, or cranberry sauce, or the kind of rolls my mother buys, or pie...but to really embrace the season of caring and being glad for what I have, and having the choice to eat or not. (I have heard more of this lately, people who complain so much about thanksgiving dinner that the whole concept of THANKSgiving is completely lost).
Friends and family, of course.
I'm thankful that DH and I both have jobs.
I'm thankful that work let me have the day before Thanksgiving off so that I could get the house ready. Someone else in my dept. had already requested the day, and they usually only let one person at a time off, but they approved me anyway!
I'm thankful that my family will be able to come to my house to celebrate Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for my Wii Fit. Since I got it, I've lost 10 lbs!!
I am thankful for everything.
That I love my new job.
I am making friends at work.
That my ipod battery is not dead yet
That I havent gained any weight since working
Friends and family of course and my dogs
-Our healthy and beautiful baby! I am feeling the baby move and just love it!
-My pregnancy has so far *knock on wood* been fairly easy. I have been healthy so far as well, which has been very helpful getting through this last semester of grad school.
-For C, who has always been a wonderful husband, but I am truly loving seeing him become a daddy. He read "Goodnight Moon" to the baby last night. Too sweet... He is so darn helpful around here too; it has been great.
-Graduation next month; I am so glad to be almost done with my masters!
-Our family and how helpful and supportive they always are
-Can't forget Buckeye, who is just always sweet and snuggly
Our baby girl!!
-my healthy growing baby
-my angelic toddler
-DH, he does so much for us/me
-my job and being able to help out kids no matter how stressed it makes me at the time
-that I have family to spend Thanksgiving with even if I am a crank-butt about the drive and the little idiosyncrasies that they all have that will eventually drive me BSC by Feb. 1st. It is better to have family to complain about and spend time with than none at all
