I Need Your Help!!

I am the biggest procrastinator that I know.  No matter what I tell myself and how much I want to change this, it still am the biggest procrastinator I know.  Or am I just that Fricken lazy?

How do I change this?  I need to... and I want to.

Re: I Need Your Help!!

  • I think I'm screwed then.
  • I am also a procrastinator but lately I've been challenging myself with the only handle once policy.  This works especially well for me with dirty dishes and mail.  For example, would I rather put this dirty plate in the diswasher now or wait a 8 hours (more bacteria, yuck!) and several dishes later to load the diswasher.  Works on my mind every time.

You can't change overnight but take small steps and I bet you can make yourself feel better.

  • I know girl! I grew up in house where we always procrastinated.  What really helped me was working somewhere where I had to report to work with a computer that recorded the time.  I HAD to be on time then.  This helped me think about planning ahead  a lot.   I was finally forced to think about time more.   I can't say I am totally free of, it but it helped me improve a LOT.   This might help you, even if you work a job for a short while where you are recorded by a computer.  Hope this helps!
