Parents Anniversary...gift suggestions?

So my parents anniversary is 12/16...

My sister and BIL got them tickets to a show (Jersey Boys) and they will love that...

But I am stumped...I don't know what to get them.

They've been married for 38 years...I suppose we could get them a gift card to a nice restaurant that they could maybe use the same night of the show, but it seems kind of cliche. Although it could work.

Besides that, I'm really clueless...as is I can't think of what to get my dad for Hanukkah.

Ha my parents just celebrated 36 years on 11/15 ! We didn't get gifts, but we'll all go out to eat when we are together in December !

I think a gift card to a restaurant would be nice. But I'm kind of partial to that idea since that's what we're getting my parents for Christmas. Smile

Maybe something close to the venue?

First thing I thought when I saw that your sis got theater tix was gift card to a restaurant near the theater, so add my vote to that. As for Chanukah, we don't get gifts for our parents, but my dad's birthday is January 2, so I need to figure that out too.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to a g/c to Davios, bc it's not far from the theater district. Plus, I have never been but heard awesome things so I can live vicariously through my parents.

A restaurant gift card they can use the same night sounds like a good idea to me. We don't give our parents anniversary gifts, so I have no ideas of my own.

Yeah, they do. I usually get my sister a card, sometimes will get them a gift or send flowers.
