what kind of tupperware/to go containers do you have ?

I am in desperate need of new ones.

I have Rubbermaid ones ( stackable w red lids ) but am not very happy with  them.

Somehow I have 20 lids and only 14 storage containers.

ugh.

Re: what kind of tupperware/to go containers do you have ?

  • Gladware because we tend to ruin that stuff. Also some Lock n'Locks from BBB. I like these a lot but get the real brand and not the BBB brand. We also have one big Pyrex hot/cold travel thing that has a carrying case.
  • I'm not really a good example.  I have a bunch of the cheap gladware stuff.  I tend to lose it, wreck it, whatever.  I buy cheap so I don't feel bad about it.
  • I usually stick with the gladware.  Because I lose it or DH forgets to bring it home, so it's not so bad to lose it.  I also tend to keep sour cream and ricotta chesse containers for storage of spaghetti sauce when I cook a big batch, because the tomato stains and never cleans well.

  • I love Lock'n'Locks! That's all we use, except for a handful of knock-off LnLs that aren't nearly as good. Also, all of my cannisters are LnLs.

This is what my parents send home leftovers in for me and my sis.  My mom got tired of her nice tupperware never returning home (Embarrassed), so she doesn't send it with us anymore.  Crazy thing is, I do not have any of it!  I personally blame my sis ;)

We also have the rubbermaid ones with red lids, I'm too cheap to spend a lot on those containers.

  • We too have the rubbermaid ones with the red lids.  I use them for mostly everything but for stuff like sauces and things that can stain plastic, I have some glass pyrex ones with blue lids...I love these!  Once my rubbermaids bite the dust, I want to get some more glass ones.
  • a bunch of random stuff, ziploc, gladware, some tupperware. my mom sends leftovers in cool whip containers, butter containers, or those pasta salad containers from the deli, lol.
  • Random containers - mostly cheap ones.  Some reused containers and some expensive.  We did get a set of cheap containers from Ikea...  I like them because we got so many for so cheap.

March 09 Siggy Challenge image Melting Snow... because it means that spring is actually on the way and it's not snowing or cold.
  • I buy Hillshire Farm lunch meat b/c they come in glad ware and I reuse that...lol. Talk about cheap! It's the perfect size for portioning salads and leftovers to take to work though.
