Date night at the Food and Wine Festival
I'm so glad everything worked out for us and we got to go! We were way overdue for a date night. Thanks so much Wendy! We had a great time. We bought $20 worth of tickets to start and ended up buying $10 more. The food tended to be the most tickets so if you wanted to try a lot of food you would need a lot more tickets. They had a whole section of Michigan beers and we spent quite awhile in there. We didn't make it to any of the seminars, but there are a bunch I would have liked to go to on today's schedule. I couldn't believe how many wine booths there were. There were live bands playing all over the place, too. We had a really great time and would love to go next year. I'm not sure we would have been willing to pay the $30 just to get in the door, though. We spent almost $60 in tickets, parking and paying the sitter as it was. Still, we had a lovely evening!
