Question about Date nights
What do you and DH typically do for date nights?

Usually we go out to dinner
Oh but two weeks ago we went out to dinner THEN to IKEA I mean it doesn't get any hotter then that!!
hehe
Last weekend we had lunch in Red Bank NJ and picked up our wedding album. It varies but usually includes a meal out!
This is a really good time of year for date nights! Every year we go get hot chocolate or coffee and walk Christmas Tree lane. We have a very nice Christmas Tree Lane close to us where everyone on the street goes all out and decorates. But if there isn't one in your town you could always make a date of driving around looking at Christmas lights around town.
Oh so many date night possibilities with the Christmas season!!
"Date nights" have become more like "date days" for us recently!
We rarely go out at night anymore (combination of being tired as heck when we get in during the workweek, H's having nightshift every third week, and then we don't like to leave our doggies, since they are crated during the day when we work!)...
So when we do go out now, it's usually on a Saturday or Sunday during the day, and we always go out to eat at one of our favorite places, a movie or (woo hoo!) antiquing, which is actually what we did on our very first date! We love to just visit antique row in Frederick and Mt. Airy, MD and peruse the antiques...every one in a while I've even found some good pieces!
We go out to dinner just the two of us, since we usually go out with friends.
Last week I thought we were having a date night, until DH mentioned that he invited a couple we're friends with to come along. Oh well!
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
Our date nights always involve food. Sometimes going out, often cooking something spectacular.
Tonight we are having a cleaning party and eating pizza, how romantic~! (We're both oddly excited for this, maybe bc our house is disgusting)
Haha, date nights? What are those? DH and I were long distance for the first 5 years of our relationship (RI-PA, then NJ-PA), so we pretty much always had "date weekends." We don't know how to "date," really... aren't we sad, lol?
As for special stuff we do together, we'll hit the movies every once in a while (last was Inception and we'll see Harry Potter soon), and we'll go out for dinner for special occasions or just because. Most regularly though, we quest together in our computer game.
Geek love, rock on!
