Wow, this board has been slow lately. Are people gradually losing interest?
What is going on with everyone this weekend? DH and I are going to dinner and to see the Rocketts tomorrow! I can't wait! Sunday will probably be just relaxing, Football, house chores and some grocery shopping. THEN it's only 3 days of work until Thanksgiving!

I've noticed it's getting slower and slower too...
This weekend BIL and one of his buddies are in town and we're all going - along with some other friends in the area - to the IU vs. PSU football game in DC. IU is my alma mater, and H, all of his friends and BIL are PSU grads, so this should be fun. It's an early game tomorrow, and then BIL got us all hotel rooms in Georgetown, so I assume we'll go out to the bars and try to pretend like we can still drink like college kids. Fun, fun! :-)
I noticed the slow down too.
I keep thinking about posting but I've been so busy at work lately that I'm either reading the posts 3 hours afterwards or I forget to even get online to look.

It is definitely getting slower around here.
This weekend...tonight Don and I have to drop off my car at the mechanics to get some things fixed especially since we're taking my car next week up to NJ! Then Saturday my Mom is coming down to hang out for the day since of course Don is working again. As for Sunday, it'll consist mostly of doing laundry and a trip to the grocery store to stock up for the trip north.
Either tonight or tomorrow night I'll be coloring my hair since my roots are showing like a mofo!
Not a very exciting weekend
I think it would help if we had daily threads for the day of the week. Otherwise, boring. Also maybe book, movie, workout etc. threads? Recipe of the week? I don't know.
I can't wait until this day is over. Work has been so busy and awful.
I'm off on Wednesday so only two days of work next week. I can't believe I'm hosting Thanksgiving.
This weekend I'm on the hunt for a new chair for my living room, Christmas gifts for FIL and two BILs, snowboots for neices, napkin rings, a set of glasses, and a partridge in a pear tree.
sat- going to estate sales to hopefully score some sweet stuff.
sun - going to a Philly GTG and DH is going to the eagles game without me
I'm sad the board is slowing down. Work is super slow this time of year and I have at least 3 hours of nothing to do.
I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday. Lame!
Tonight DH and I are going to a party for his bestie who is now moving to AZ. I'm happy the guy is leaving, cuz I think he's a bit of a douche, but sad the DH won't have a bestie in town anymore.
My brother is finally coming home, he's been in FL for training for a month and even though we don't see each other regularly, I'm happy he'll be home.
Tomorrow is the CU/KSU game w/ DH, brother, and all his friends. Should be good times. My mom's family is from KS, so I'm a bit torn. I'm sure we'll party all day and night to celebrate brother's return
Sunday is recovering and grocery shopping for turkey day. And I've randomly decided to wear purple every day next week, so need to do some laundry

Good luck on hosting Thanksgiving. I don't know when i will be ready to host my first big holiday, not until we have a bigger house for sure.
Tonight we are going out for dinner with my family to wish the hunters well on their hunt this weekend. We are dogsitting for SIL this weekend and looking forward to having a puppy in the house. Sat I want to shop the sales. Sunday will probably be watching the game-Packers vs Vikings and picking up my son from the hunting weekend.
I'm so glad this week is over. I'm taking a half day today to go get violated by the doc and get more bc. Blah.
I have no idea what we're doing tonight. Maybe I can talk Jeremy into taking me to the $ movie or maybe we'll just watch Toy Story 3 I just bought. Saturday I'm going wedding dress shopping in ATL with my BF for her wedding in May. I'm super excited about some girl time and desperately need it after this week.
Sunday...church then finishing painting the new house.
I'm off all next week and so excited although I will be packing most of it but I'll take that over the week I've had.
Tee hee. I got violated last week and co-worker is leaving early to get violated today. Tis the season!
ETA: Coworker planned a "gyno-friendly" outfit with slip on/off shoes and no layers, for easy removal. I thought that was funny.
Happy Friday! I'm so excited about Thanksgiving that I was dreaming about stuffing last night...lol.
So glad the weekend is here. Tomorrow night Richard is taking me out to dinner. He got his first paycheck today so we'll be celebrating with a bottle of wine...better yet, bubbly.
Other than that no real plans for the weekend. I'm going to do a test run of a recipe I got for sweet dinner rolls. I made cornbread last night and I took some to my dad's so that I wouldn't eat it all.
Sunday is FOOTBALL! The Raiders play the Steelers...that is going to be a good game, a tough one, but a good game.
