Hmm. Not my style either.
BUT..
Did you hear about Eva Longoria & Tony Parker? Sad.
Not my style, nor did I think it was Jessica Simpson's style either. I find the whole back to back engagements of Nick Lachey and Jessica a little weird.
I also heard about Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. That is sad - they seemed like a good, romantic couple.
I don't like Jessica's ring;.... I don't like Kate Middleton's ring either. I guess I'm more of a modern girl - I like white gold/platinum, and I like rose gold in moderation. And I guess i will always be partial to the diamond in the center. I actually really like sapphire in the center too, just don't like Kate's.... the way the oval shape is framed with the diamonds.
But it's 18 carats and it used to be Diana's, so I guess she has nothing to complain about! Does this mean I'm more high maintenance than the future princess of Wales? that if William proposed to me with that, I'd be like, "honey, no, I want something else" ? I think so. I think I am pickier than the future princess of Wales.

Also, I like Kate's ring, although it looks a little more "old-fashioned" for my personal tastes, but definitely very elegant and royal. And like ldanzr, I wouldn't want to wear someone else's ring.

I think I'd still be honored to wear Diana's ring, even with all the baggage. JMO

Jessica's ring isn't really my style but I know some people who would love an e-ring like that. I think it's a beautiful ring but wouldn't choose it as an e-ring for myself.
As for Kate, it's kind of the same thing. Perhaps I am more traditional with the idea of a center diamond. I do think that the fact that this ring was Diana's is so amazing. I would feel absolutely honored to be wearing anything of hers and I am sure it meant a lot to Prince William to give that to her. However, like some PP, I am a bit superstitious and wouldn't wear anything for our wedding that was offered to us from a marriage that didn't work out.
