My weight loss "secret" is not really a secret.
I am very aware of the food I eat and it's nutritional content (I track on livestrong.com, formerly The Daily Plate). I tend to track better during the day and then just leave enough for a decent size supper because that's when I eat my most calories.
I drink massive amount of water during the day- keep the water bottle the hospital gives you with a straw. I down 20 oz. in less than 5 minutes.
I try really hard to get in weights and toning exercises but haven't really made time for it since I went back to work this week. At work I try and walk around the hospital when doing rounds with employees.
The biggest thing is that my body type is predominantly mesomorph...meaning my body reacts fairly easily to weight loss and muscle building tactics. (Hence the frustration with not losing inches sooner- I'm used to it happening almost immediately!)
Hopefully that makes sense.
