Gift ideas, please...

I'm desperate for gift ideas, especially for DH's side of the family. Plus there are 3 family birthdays on top of it :X

Please help me by posting:

- Gifts from $25-$100 that YOU would want/love/think is a great gift

- Gifts in that price range that you've received in the past and liked

- Blogs with cute or unique gift ideas

- Stores with great gift possibilities you think I might not know of

... Anything else you think would help.

TIA and everyone who posts gets a virtual cookie from me with love and appreciation.

Re: Gift ideas, please...

  • Gifts that I want for $25.00-$100.00

I am a sucker for theme gift baskets...

Starbucks travel mug with either VIA or a pound of Christmas Blend, and a coffee cake mix or some other sweet goodies.

A beautiful mug and some exotic teas and a steeping ball and maybe a beautiful teapot.

The spa day in a box that people mentioned yesterday in another post.

    Other items...

Not sure... i'll get back to you :-)

  • I would love almost the entire Uncommon Goods catalog. I think there's something in there for almost anyone; all the gifts are fairly unique; and they're priced well.

Once my MIL bought me a "start knitting" kit. It was a few pairs of needles, a couple skeins of practice yarn, and a "Knitting for Dummies" book. That was a great gift.

  • I LOVE Uncommon Goods. I am getting a gift for DH which was inspired by them, and my mom's gift too I think.

  • OMG you guys rock! That site is awesome. I immediately found a great gift for my nephew who loves construction:

How cute is that?? It's so perfect for him that I'm giddy. I'm SO glad I asked! You guys have such good ideas. Keep 'em coming!

  • That is an adorable plate! I do like Uncommon Goods a lot. I want things like books, DVDs, a coat in that price range. For my mom I got a coffee table book, a smaller book and a Calphalon baking set (actually a regift because I got two), for my bros (in their 20's) I always get gift cards to places like Best Buy, for DH I got a Pearl Jam poster and we're getting a stereo together as our gift to each other. For DH's family we draw names and don't buy for everyone. We haven't drawn names yet.
  • Funny you ask. I was thinking I should FB you with an idea I had after your last post. You like to cook, right? Do you have lots of recipes you like? Some websites let you create your own cookbooks. Might be fun to make a cookbook of your favorite (and family) recipes for extended family. Google "make your own cookbook."

I'm going to be making mosaic stepping stones for my MIL.

My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

I just fell in love with this site. I ordered earrings for my mom's birthday. I could have ordered everything.

  • We usually do edible gifts (nice olive oils, honey, bottles of wine), boardgames, cookbooks, etc. I'm getting my MIL and SIL cookbooks this year - the new Sunset one for MIL and the TJ's Dinner's Done one for SIL. One year I made everyone paperwhite growing kits with bulbs, a nice ceramic pot, and river rocks. That was very budget-friendly and everyone loved them.
