The big yellow truck is parked outside, the snacks are packed and tomorrow we start the road trip from NH to MD! We load the rest of the truck tomorrow morning and then were off! Our goal is to make the Maryland/Delaware line tomorrow but probably stop before Baltimore cause we'll hit it at traffic time. Then Saturday we'll get up and drive the last hour or two to our new home! Any thoughts/vibes you have would be greatly appreciate!

Good luck with your move! I had a big move last year from FL to NY, so I feel your pain with how long the trip feels. It will all be worth it when you get into your new home!
Sending positive vibes and thoughts your way!

I second this!!! Happy travels :-)
Yay! Enjoy the journey. DH and I always play the alphabet game because road trips get boring. Here's the rules:
Keep an eye outside the card for road signs, billboards and other objects. Look for any word that starts with the letter "A." When you see it, yell out the word before anyone else can.
Now look for a word that starts with the letter "B" and repeat the process until you get all the way through the alphabet.
Once a person says a word for their letter, the other person may not use the same word. The object of the game is to get all the way through the alphabet before your opponent does.
It can be a pretty competitive game once you get the hang of it!
Safe travels!

Have a safe and wonderful road trip with your hubby!
We play the alphabet game too, but do it a little differently. We play along together and whoever gets the letter first gets a point (we don't really keep track of the points, but you get the idea). I.E. Once one of us calls out the word that starts with the letter A, we move on to letter B, and so on. It definitely helps pass the time and usually we end up laughing because we're trying to find the right letter before the other person.
Good luck Danielle!!! Wishing you a safe and fun roadtrip with your hubby and a very happy and blessed new home!
What a good idea that the other girls suggested car games - I happen to like the movie game. Go through the alphabet and name a movie that begins with each letter. You and your partner take turns and you win if you can stump the other person. It's hard when you get to X, Y and Z
