That is, I'm in trouble about losing weight. I ordered a BM dress a size smaller than me; it requires that I lose at each 2 inches around the bust to zip it up.
The wedding is on 2/26 - and I thought ordering a smaller dress would force me to exercse conscientiously. But I'm putting it off.... this winter weather makes me just want to cuddle up and not exercise!
Boo. I'm really hatiing my stomach these days - it gets so easily fatter.
Any advice as to how to get out and run?
On a side note, my friend's wedding on 2/26 - she's marrying someone whose originally from Hawaii - so they had their e-pics taken by a photographer JanineRM recommended when they were visiting his parents in Oahu - and now those photographers are coming to LA to do their wedding too!

Bleh, cold weather is SO discouraging! I can't offer much advice since I'm a procrastinator when it comes to working out.
Could you modify your diet by cutting down on some things? I don't mean a crash diet or anything, but by cutting out sugar, extra salt and a few other things, you might be able to lose water retention.
Also, since it's your bust could you wear something (a bandeau or girdle-type thing?) that would squeeze you in a bit? Is it strapless?
Do you belong to a gym? Maybe you could ask one of the staff there about exercises that target that specific area?
Can't be easy with the holidays coming up... Good luck!
Maybe you've tried it before, but I love Weight Watchers. A couple of years ago I started it in 16 weeks I dropped over 30 pounds... without exercise.
GL my dear! Losing weight is a toughie. My motivation only kicks in after I have started to see some results from dragging myself, kicking and screaming, to the gym, or after eating right for awhile. Then I am 110% motivated!
I dunno, this past week parents kept asking me how they could motivate their children to be better students... and I think my answer is pretty similar in both cases: motivation is intrinsic.
Can you start walking more? I've started getting off the subway several stops away from my place so I'm walking an extra 3k every day!

okay this is so going to be the tough love answer
losing weight staying in shape is not easy no matter what anyone tells you-start picking up some copies of oxygen magazine-great diet and exercise tips and I would recommend purchasing an at home video workout system like p90x, or insanity ( i just had GREAT results with insanity) and schedule 1 hour minimum per day more if you can and just do it-plenty of time to get into that dress-

you're right Alix - and I have insanity and p90x - just haven't done them yet.
idk if i can exercise this week though... making 2 turkeys this year, one for church, and have to brine one today.... i'm making excuses! I will post with a triumphant post if/when I work out today!
