Weekend plans?
What's everyone been up to?
Yesterday, I took some kids to Bristow for an honor band audition. I got to judge middle/high school saxes and I got some good laughs. I also met the director from a nearby small town--it's always good networking. And there was an iguana and a python in the room (science class). Freaking cool. I had some kids make it, but we took a long lunch and by the time we got back, everyone was gone! I'm waiting to hear from the hosting director. He said he saw my school on the list but I can't stand not knowing! H did a bunch of cleaning while I was out and we got our new microwave installed over the range in the kitchen. Yay!
Then I came home, did W4D3 of C25K (getting better at it!), made dinner and went to bed early.
Today is the usual: groceries, cleaning, lounging.
Re: Weekend plans?
I had a baby shower Friday night, then yesterday H and I took the kids out to breakfast and then shopping. Then H headed down to Dallas for the Stars game and the kids and I went shopping with my mom and then out to dinner. Then I got to break into my house since H had my car keys and my garage door opener and he hasn't set our keypad to the garage yet. That was fun!
H had to run to work this morning, but is on his way home now so I think we will all go to my parents house so they can see the kids and H can fix their plumbing issues. I need to do my cleaning list sometime today too...
Friday night we caught up on our recorded tv shows and set up my new computer! My old one died a few weeks ago, 2 months out of the extended warranty. Now DH is jealous that my computer is nicer than his.
Yesterday I finished reading a book, went to the library to get a new batch of books for the upcoming long weekend, and took the dogs to the dog park. DH went over to a friend's apartment to watch football, so I threw myself a dance party in the living room.
Today is the usual cleaning. If I can get DH off the couch, we'll take the dogs to Petsmart to get more dog food. I need to finish buying my flights home for Christmas. Flying around Christmas/New Year's is expensive, and it seems like the airlines change the prices on the flights ever 20 minutes.
Well I was supposed to go the baby shower on Friday, but due to a meltdown I had on Thursday (and boy was it a meltdown), Mom ended up coming to town to help me out at work on Friday, so I had to hang with her Friday night. I was cool with that though--having the most awesome mom on the planet is a great thing when I'm not doing too well.
Yesterday I went horseback riding, and then we went and saw Harry Potter in the balcony at the Warren with a friend of mine and her H. It was awesome.
Today I was lazy for a while, and finally got off the couch and went riding again, and then went grocery shopping. Now I'm home and hoping to chill the rest of the night.

Friday - We just ate fajita nachos and watched movies.
Saturday - we went down to the Wichita Mountains and spent most of the day hiking, it was tons of fun and the weather was beautiful! Then we made steak and stuff for dinner.
Today - we didn't get ready in time for sunday schools (oops, lol) so we just went to "big church". Then I accidently took a 2 hour nap (oops again haha). Then I went to the Earlywine park to do my C25K, but I forgot my asthma inhaler and couldn't finish the whole thing
Now I'm cleaning and doing homework.

Yesterday I ran the City Divided 5k and beat my goal time by a minute and 20 seconds, even though I struggled through most of the race for some reason (did 4 miles last weekend with no problems all) and then watched the OSU game.
Today I went to Tulsa to cheer my sister and brother in law on in the Route 66 Marathon and ran in the last couple of miles with my sister. She beat her previous half marathon time by almost 5 minutes and my BIL finished his first full marathon. I'm so proud of both of them. Then I had lunch with my other sister and aunt. It was a great weekend overall.
My weekend was BUSY!
Friday night, I was spoiled.... I got lots of stuff for my little girl and had a much needed girls night! Got home way too late and crashed the second I hit my pillow.
Saturday, I was up bright and early to help Jesse on his way and get a few things done around the house. Saturday night I had to help Jesse finish up some ground work that his boys didn't get finished and then more Christmas light stuff once we got home. Another super late night.
Sunday, H's b-day. I cleaned house all day and got almost all of the laundry done. I then went to another house with him to finish some ground work because he wanted to send his boys home. I guess my pay rate is less than theirs.
I had planned to cook him dinner but since he had such a late day we ended up at Chili's.
I came to work today with the hope of relaxing.... I hope my plan works!
Friday night baby shower/girl's night. Got home way too late and felt like an old woman.
Saturday, got all dolled up and went to see Wicked in Tulsa. I highly recommend this musical. It was amazing! Came home and got in my comfy clothes and was in bed by 9:30.
Sunday, went and saw Harry Potter (awesome movie) and then spent the rest of the day doing laundry and cleaning.
It was just me and JJ on Friday night. Hung out at home, watched some sports and worked on his vocabulary. He's finally using his words.
Saturday, my friend's daughter had her 2nd birthday party in Edmond, so JJ and I spent the day down there and met up with my mom to do some shopping. Decided last minute that we really are going to Bedlam, so we went out to find some warmer clothes for JJ to wear to the game.
Sunday was a doozie. JJ was all over the place from the moment he woke up, and I barely got anything done. Had a meltdown of sorts, but I think I needed it. Today's gone much better already.
