DH has a really bad cold = may have to cancel our trip
Jacob came down with another cold - 2nd one in a month. He's taking meds, will call his dr. tomorrow and I'm praying he will get better by Wed. when we're supposed to be going on our mini trip to Disneyland.
I made him some chicken noddle soup tonight, hoping it will make him feel better. I also had him take some Emergen-C.
Any suggestions on what I can give him that may help him get over it sooner than later?

zicam.
it works for us to help shorten the length of a cold.
hope he gets better soon.
Thank you! I could never get him to do the nasal rinse. It works for me too.
thanks! I'll have to get some tomorrow.

Thank you ladies, he just took some nyquil and went to bed. I moved into the spare bedroom last night so that I don't get it - crossing my fingers I don't because it wouldn't be a good thing.
They have nasal rinses that aren't netti pots. I found that netti pots are really uncomfortable. The sinus rinse in the bottle is easier.
I second Zicam. My colds have definitely lasted a lot shorter since I started taking zinc.
thanks everyone! He is doing a little better today and I'm hoping that he'll be much better by Wed.
He's taking meds, and vitamins, lots of liquids, and rest.
