Re: Manic Monday
Best: DH's birthday, saw some friends, surprised him with a trip to the aquarium
Worst: the Dolphin exhibit is still not open, and they were introducing 2 new beluga whales to the exhibit, so the main viewing window was covered (to show them that there was a barrier there). The Belugas were the main reason we went because the only other time DH has gone, they were not there at all due to construction. But we still had a good time.
Best: Dh and I saw Anthony Bourdain, who was awesome and really funny. We went out with Merly and her DH for dinner then we saw HP7.
Worst: I had to work Saturday making it two me work 12 days with only one day off in between. I can't wait for this week to be over I'm only working two days then I'm off for 5! Yeah.
Best: Coming back in town and sleeping in my own bed.
Worst: My knees are still sore. (more abt. this later)
Best: Fun bike race Saturday night and getting on the podium and winning cash! Really good hanging out with some friends and having dinner at their house Friday night.
Worst: Tooth hurting.

Worst - having really bad allergies
best - saw Harry Potter, shopped an insane amt (I have the Am/Ex bill to prove it this morning!) and got a lot accomplished this weekend.
worst - DH had to work @ home and it made him cranky. Wasn't enoguh time to go hunting for a new place.

Best: low key weekend at home, got my Christmas cards designed and ordered, good prospect meeting on Sunday.
Worst: found out my brother and his wife won't be able to come home for Thanksgiving. I am super disappointed.
Best - got a lot of errands run on Saturday, saw a friend on Sunday
Worst - found out that the living room tables we've been saving up for have been discontinued. We can't afford them yet, so we're SOL. I'm devastated that we'll have to start the search all over again. I might as well not even bother looking until we have the cash.
Also, having to spend most of Sunday sitting in the recliner from pain/nausea/indigestion sucked.
Best: We did an early Thanksgiving dinner on Sat. because I work this Thursday... yum! We also went house hunting with the fabulous realtor rec'd by P&R. We saw some great options, and it is beginning to feel like this might all work out. Hello burbs!
Worst: Stressful LSU game tried to put a damper on our fake Thanksgiving, but it turned out great in the end

best: getting another bookcase for the kitchen, so now all my serving stuff looks nice and spread out, not all crammed into one case. oh, and giving our extra kohl's coupon to the lady behind us in line...she was super excited
worst: having an AWFUL experience at d!ck's sporting goods. we just wanted to buy a gun safe for a friend, and first they couldn't find the ones in stock, then they said they were sold out, then they said we could buy the floor model....BUT they had to find the key. which, in the THREE HOURS we were gone from the store, didn't happen. so. annoying.
