So every year I take Q to Picture People to do some basic Christmas pictures, nothing fancy. The first year he wore a big red sweater and had some tinsel and ornaments. Last year he wore his Christmas pj's and I had a plate of cookies and a note to Santa. I needs some ideas for this year. I know there are people here who are much more creative than me. Any ideas are appreciated. TIA!!
Re: Need photo ideas re DS
Can you have a bunch of wrapped presents and have him tearing into them? Maybe just wrapping paper all over the place with him going nuts in it.
This is what I used do to when I was little. lol.
Can you buy an over-sized stocking and have him stand in it, sack-race style?
Or how about in an elf costume, with maybe some wood toys/blocks/trains and toy tools?
It looks like they have a Xmas train prop you can use.
Here are some ideas. The Santa bubble beard, J-O-Y and rockin' ones are the best ideas, IMO.

Go to Flickr and seach "christmas toddler" or something like that. Tons of ideas.
For Lily, I'm done with the Picture People because they did such an awful job last time (I know it's hit or miss with them, but it was really bad that time, and I wonder if they just can't do toddlers. They did a great job with her baby pics.)
Anyway, so I'm going with DIY this year because I can't afford a pro right now. So here are my 3 ideas, and if I take 100 pictures each time, I might get something decent:
--I'm going to take her somewhere outside, sort of urban looking, maybe Ybor and put her in a cute, semi-holiday outfit and give her a big red and white lollipop. You remember this from the Bump a year or two ago, I'm sure.
--I got her the cutest hat and mittens for up north. I put them on and it was so stinkin' cute I wanted to do something with them for a picture, I was thinking of maybe taking her somewhere very Florida, like the beach with a sand bucket. I don't know if that would work out at all, but in my head it's cute. m
--Something with jammies inside, maybe with the tree or by the fireplace. I guess you've already done that, but I think there's nothing cuter in the world than kids in footed jammies.
My silly Lily is almost 4.
