NER: I'm going to feel really bad if this girl passed the bar and I didn't...
A friend from law school just sent me this link:

Check out the cheerleader of the week (girl in Bengal's get up) - she graduated with me, was bright orange from spray tan for graduation (apparently tryouts were that week), and was one of the biggest *insert your own expletive here* that I've ever met.
Not trying to be *too* mean, but seriously, I'm going to feel really bad if an orange cheerleader passes the bar and I don't....

::Snort:: whats wrong with her face? why can't she smile right?
I can't speak for all state bar exams, of course, but there is a certain level of arbitrariness to it all. A friend of mine who is quite smart failed on her first take and the only thing we could figure was that her handwriting was so atrocious that her essays couldn't be read (we were warned that lousy handwriting could = failing the written portion of the test). She worked on her handwriting and passed 6 months later.
Meanwhile, another classmate of mine who was a total screw-up and probably graduated with a C- average passed on his first try. Some people, no matter how stupid, are good test takers.
Seriously, don't agonize. You could drive yourself insane with these thoughts. I should know.
GAH! Don't tell me that! My computer crashed the first day, so I had to handwrite everything (one contact in and one contact out, no less - it was a REALLY bad day).
