Ugh.
My office is already getting calls from media folks who want to talk about whether or not Childress will be considered for the coaching position with the Gophers. I hate days like this. Really, what are they expecting us to say? It makes me want to make up fake stuff like "he wasn't good enough for his last team and they fired him for poor performance. This morning. He's only been out of a job for about an hour, but in that time, we've decided that sure, he's the right fit for us and we'd love to have him despite his recent firing. We'll be hiring him this afternoon!"
