Recommend your leather cleaning product & general tips

We just bought a leather sofa and I'm interested in any good products for routine maintenance.

 Also interested in general tips

THANKS

Re: Recommend your leather cleaning product & general tips

  • DH works on high end cars and he brings home BMW leather conditioning and cleaning solutions.

We've had our couch for 5 years now and it started to feel little dry. We treated it and now it's soft and shiny again.

I would look in Auto Zone or other store for leather seat cleaning solutions.

  • My old roommate works for lazy boy. She said the best thing for a leather couch is a large bowl of warm water mixed with a little bit of dove body wash. Make sure it is dove though anything else will take the color out of the leather.

DH have been using it on our couch for about a year now. I think it works wonders! It makes it shiney and keeps it conditioned.

You just take a wash cloth and wipe it down and leave it for about 15 mins before you sit on it. I do it about once a month or more if needed.
