threading and nail service rec
I need a new eye brow threading person, any one have a rec? I'm in Pflugerville so up north would be preferred.
I also need my nails done bad! I usually have great nails, but with all the renovation work on the house, they're shot. I need a set put on for a wedding coming up. Does anyone have any good places to get a set of acrylics/solars or whatever? I don't want to go to a generic nail place that uses a dremmel tool. I want a good place that does hand buffing. Thanks!
Re: threading and nail service rec
no threading rec, but I love Luna Nails in the Arboretum. However, they do use a buffer on the end of a dremmel, so it might not be what you're looking for.
are there places that don't use the dremmel tool??
I had silk nails for my wedding at Anne Kelso where they don't use a dremmel or anything but that was pricey (maybe $70??)...
For threading I like Shabnam at Cedar Park (TGF next to HEB at 1431 and Parmer)
There is another lady Nahid in the Gallery of Salons in North Cross Mall.
For Nails, my recommendation is in Cedar Park, Fancy Nails, the regular pedicures include paraffin treatment. Very good customer service, and the manger/owner remembers every name even if you go once every 6 months!!
Yeah, it's usually around $75 for no dremmel. The dremmel is actually really bad for your nails and not safe. I got burned bad by one when I was younger.
you can disregard my rec for the nail place, I only do regular mani/pedi and don't do tips or solar.
As an option you can sport the short nails with dark polish, it's trendy and you don't subject your nails to harsh buffing.
I would so do that, but I have a dress code for this first one
