What did I miss?
I had a busy weekend. Dave and I drove to PEI on Thursday afternoon (have any of you read Anne of Green Gables? We went there) because he had a business meeting there.
We woke up on Friday morning and hopped in the car again, and drove to my mom's house. Dave was running a hockey tournament that my nephew was participating in, so my sister's whole family was staying there, along with us, the dog, and my other sister's family who live just down the road from my mom. 7 adults and 6 kids total. It was BUSY and loud and chaotic. But fun.
We had a little belated birthday celebration with cake and presents for me. My sister's got me some fun stuff, but my mom's gift was SO random. She gave me a bag of stuff, and my brother's old retainer was in there. All wrapped up. Like, what? She is all kinds of crazy, we could NOT stop laughing.
The hockey thing was Saturday, so I took my little niece out for a "girl's adventure" as she calls it (swimming, lunch, and then to see some of the hockey). My best friend (and maid of honor) brought her son to the rink so I got to hang out with her for a bit too. It was the first time I've seen her since the wedding - it's SO HARD living so far away!
My sister and I went shopping in the afternoon, and I spent WAY too much money buying things for Dave for Christmas.
Yesterday we got up, the whole family went to Church together (you should have seen how happy my mom was, this is basically the one thing that makes her the happiest, haha) and then we got on the road for the 8 hour trek back home. The roads were AWFUL (snow) and we saw a few accidents. One reallllly serious one.
So. What did I miss here??

Nothing missed here. HH and I went out to dinner Friday night, I did some Christmas shopping on Saturday, and after Church yesterday we took the in-laws out to eat for their anniversary. Nothing too exciting, but we had fun.

You can search for someone's SN on here. From there, (if it's not set to private), you can see the last 4 posts they've posted. Either that or google someone's screen name along with thenest.com
