ETA: This reminds me of 2008 when I turned 24. It was on election day and my mom calls me to ask who I voted for. Never mind my birthday.
Election day 2008 - I will always remember that as the day that I had the flu and I seriously thought I was going to die. OMG, I have never felt worse in my life. Ever since that year I have gotten my flu shot.

Weird... Election day 2008, the day my husband ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks. What a bad day, all around!
My mom forgot my birthday this year. I was so surprised I called her later that night b/c I thought something must have happened to her. Nope. Just forgot.
