Tuesday Confessions
I confess that I had a good birthday but I'm hurt that two of my bestfriends either forgot my bday or just plain ignored it. I think this is the second year in a row that they did. I wasn't expecting anything but a call or a fbook message but nothing. It seems so small but I'm starting to think we're just not as good friends as we used to be...

I confess that I have nearly dropped a friendship recently despite that she is one of my BFFs from college. I feel like I've been doing all the work to keep the friendship alive--calling her, sending the first email, etc. She rarely initiates the contact. After not hearing from her for a month, she sent me a message on FB. I called her last week. We talked briefly, but I haven't heard from her since. We used to send emails at least a few days a week.
*shrug* I plan to let her contact me next time. It makes me sad, but friendship is a two way street.

I confess that I am kind of excited about our new vacuum. The whole house vacuum was installed on Friday, and I love using it. It's so quiet.
I confess that I am kinda p!ssed that DH is only working 3 days this week (and only 4 hrs per day!) because his restaurant is closing early Wednesday and not opening again until next Monday. I have to work 9 hours a day, every day, except Thursday.
did you guys ever decide if you're traveling to see DH's family for the holiday?
