~I used the threadmill for over an hour last night.
~Mike threw up last night. Did I mention T threw up Saturday night? Eww. I hope I don't get sick.
~I am SO looking forward to being off of work for 4 days.
Re: Good Tuesday Morning!
Good morning!
Good job on the treadmill, Molly! I'm impressed. Anyone who runs (no matter the distance) impresses me. Back in the day, I used to be a great baserunner -- I had the second fastest time running from first to third on my all-start softball team one year, so I was good at stealing bases. But running around bases is definitely the extent of my running career.
Sorry to hear about the sickness in your house. That's no fun. Is T feeling better now or is he still sick too?
So, Thanksgiving should be pretty interesting this year. My brother is bringing home a new girlfriend. I haven't met her yet, but my parents met her briefly last time they were in Chicago. I'm looking forward to meeting her.
And then on the other side of the family, my SIL is bringing home her new boyfriend for the first time. I have met that guy once, but her parents (who strongly disapprove of the relationship) haven't met him yet.
And let the family drama commence...
That is awesome. I have always been a really slow runner. Haha...thank goodness I could hit. I would have never made it on base!
T is better now. He was really fussy on Sunday, and he went to bed around 6pm. Woke up at 7 am on Monday morning and has been fine since.
Yay for meeting your brother's girlfriend, and have fun at the IL's - that should be interesting.
Morning.
BBBBRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy freaking cold Batman!
Good Morning!
-My dryer is taking forever! I just had to lessen the load, I hope what I need drys quick, so I can get out of here.
-Going to be a busy day. Leaving here in a few to run my 2yo to my parent's house in Nunica. My 4mo old has a Dr. appointment at 11:30 in Coopersville. Then we have to get some groceries for dinner tonight, and snacks for the road tomorrow, and at the hotel tomorrow evening, and the ride home Thursday.
-I am so looking forward to the hot tub at this hotel it isn't even funny! I am going to hand my children over to my husband and in-laws and relax a little.
-Need to finish cleaning up the house this afternoon, then pack, and hopefully get the car loaded too. We aren't leaving until 11 or so. But every little bit helps, the less rushed I am on Wednesday, the better.
Sorry Chymes, that really sucks.
Uh-oh. Hope you feel better very soon!
Would this rug

look ok with these floors?

Our couch will be here next Saturday...time to accessorize.
I think it would look great!
Sorry to hear you're having a bad day! Hope the rest of the day goes better.
I agree! Love the color of the floors!
What do you guys think of this?
As most of you know, I have anxiety issues about going to the dentist. And as a result, I know I'm a terrible patient. But still, my hygenist and dentist are both awesome and super patient and nice with me.
So, I'd like to send them a little holiday gift or something, kind of like a thank you for putting up with me. My first thought was to send some of these cookies (which are awesome).
But, would it be frowned upon to send sugary, cavity-inducing cookies to a dentist's office?
I kind of think so. But I don't have a better suggestion for you at the moment...
I think it would be ok. I see it this way, they can eat the cookies and brush right away since there are an ample supply of tooth brushes.
HA! Good point.
Chymes, I was wavering on it to, but couldn't thing of a good alternative. Fruit basket?
I would do it, I love the irony. I would say something like "You might need to brush twice after eating these, but it will be worth it! Enjoy."
I have the round version of that rug! It gets complimented EVERY time someone comes to our house. I adore it. From Overstock.
And we have it on wood floors a shade lighter than those.
