moms whose baby's hair is a rugged mane (looking at November)
Jack gets hair mats. Like my cat. Little dreds from tossing his head side to side when he's rooting or whatever. I had to take scissors to him last week and cut like 5 out because when I put a comb to them, it lifted his scalp skin seriously about 4 inches from his skull which was both weird and hilarious. How do you prevent hair mats in babies?
Re: moms whose baby's hair is a rugged mane (looking at November)
Dude, I wish I could help. The entire back of Miles' head was covered in dreds for a while - we ended up just cutting it all out periodically. We try to comb out his hair after the bath, but by the morning he looks like Albert Einstein again. The good news is that his hair doesn't get quite so matted anymore - I think because it's a little less fine now that he's getting bigger.
