who has put up holiday decorations already?
So I was MIA for most of the week last week. Not sure if a discussion has been had about this.
We just moved last weekend I refused to move our x-mas decorations from one basement, to the other just to have to bring them all back up in a couple weeks.
So I'll admit it, I decorated (minus the tree b/c we get a real one and it's too early for that) last Friday.
Anyone else already decorated?

I want to, but right now, our lease is up a week from today, and we're going to be staying with his parents a few weeks, while we wait to hear back about the house we are trying to buy. Our goal is to be in the house by christmas, then we'll decorate, we get a real tree every year.
I can't wait to start decorating!
We haven't started to decorate yet. I am hoping that we might have time this weekend to start. We really want to get a real tree this year so that probably will not happen until Christmas gets a bit closer.
Today we are focused on cleaning up snow.

Shauni- So I take it that you guys do both holidays? That must get hectic!!!
I went to the Christmas Tree Shoppe this past weekend & picked up a few items - it's so hard not to put them out! Since this is our first Christmas living together we don't have much, and whatever decorations I do have are at my parents.
I plan on getting the decorations together Thanksgiving day & putting them all up Friday
And I'll also switch over from the Thanksgiving candle to my Christmas wreath one.. cannotttt wait.

We have our christmas lights on the house and the wreath on the front door, however we don't actually turn the lights on until December 1st, which is when the tree goes up too.
I might put out some of the decorations this weekend though.
Stef - I get jealous every time you talk about the Christmas Tree Shop! I love that place!
I don't even own any Christmas decorations b/c we always travel for the holidays. This year, we're stuck home b/c of K's work schedule, so I think I'll have to finally go buy some and decorate!
decorating will start on sunday since we're traveling back from NJ on saturday!
