Hi ladies!
I'm back! I just spend the last week in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo for my cousin's wedding. It was awesome. I ate tons of good food, drank far too many margaritas, went horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling, watched some beautiful sunsets, spent time with my family, and met some great new people. We took my cousin out dancing in Ixtapa for her bachelorette party and had a blast:

She had her rehearsal dinner at this awesome restaurant overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay and it was gorgeous. Then the wedding was held at this little hotel on Playa Larga and it was just stunning. She looked beautiful. The ceremony was awesome - I loved seeing some of the Mexican traditions (her fiance is from Mexico originally). My sister sang at the ceremony and she and I gave a toast at the reception, which went very well! The food was awesome and the reception went late into the night (with lots of dancing and tequila shots), and ended with a jump into the pool:

So that was my week! I did not want to come home!
What did I miss while I was gone? Any news in WCF land?
Re: I'm back from Mexico! (with pics)
Oh man, I'm jealous. I stayed in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo twice in college and it was AMAZING. It's such a beautiful place!
Unfortunately, I can't see your pictures until I get home. :::shakes fist at Photobucket and at corporate office for blocking Photobucket:::

Can we trade lives sometime? I want to go on fun trips and hang out in NYC. You can come back to DC and be a mid-level government lacky and change dirty diapers and read Charlotte's Web and trip over my husband's plethora of bikes and bike gear. I totally sold you on that one, no?
Looks like you have a fun trip and that your cousin's wedding turned out beautifully! I love the dresses you guys wore- so light and elegant looking!
Thanks for all the kind words, ladies! I keep saying that I'm lucky my cousins have been marrying internationally - this year this wedding sent me to Mexico, and last year I had another cousin get married in Hungary. If they keep this up, I'll see the world just for weddings!
It was definitely fun but it's good to be home.
