  I deleted someone and they actually emailed me to ask me why.. I was honest and explained that them fighting over FB w/ their sister (who I also deleted) was really not something I wanted to read or on my wall. She said "oh you could have hid us" no big deal as we weren't that close anyways...

  A few of my cousins deleted me awhile back because they were offended by my use and my sister's use of the word "ghetto". I know how the term originated and out here what the term would be used for would be a poverty-stricken area with a high crime rate. I know all this but the term "ghetto" is used loosely out here. We say something is ghetto when it's something looked down upon or something you wouldn't do I guess. Like a girl wearing a tube top with bra straps. Not sure if you get my jist. Anyway, my sis swears she'shood and ghetto because of the people she associates with and where she lives. One of my cousins took offense to that then a huge discussion ensued on FB ad they got angry because apparently we don't know what ghetto really is and we never lived it. I guess they really do live in an impoverished area of NY and one of them has a BF who is a drug dealer, she never graduated etc. So turns out they thought we were making fun of their lifestyle when in reality it had nothing to do with that. We just tend to use the term loosely while it's a badge of honor for them and they're proud of it. So....that's my dad's side of the family for ya! Thank goodness my parents moved to Ca when I was little.

  I'm going to have to assume yes because my profile is private and she would have to request me to be a friend to see anything. And she would have no reason to delete my mom or sister.

  That would be terribly annoying! I would have deleted them too! I would be so surprised if she ever says anything to me though - she is not at all the confrontational type. (Though I can guarantee she is talking shiit about me now! haha)
