But using the slow cooker (look in the reviews section to get directions)

  • this is SUPER easy

you know the packaged spices at the grocery store, theres one for pulled pork and it tells you what and how much other items you need to add (brown sugar, ketchup, apple vinegar, and water - maybe).  it's so simple, you mix all the ingredients together, pour it ontop of your pork, and let it cook in the crock pot for 4 hrs on high or 8 hrs on low.  AND it tastes so damn good too!

  • I do this for large parties, easy and excellent:

    Pulled Pork

3-5 lb pork shoulder or tenderloin

    1/4C brown sugar

1/3C McCormick?s Grill Master Pork Rub

Rub mix all over meat. Put in bag and marinate overnight in fridge.

    Next day in crock:

Cut pork up and put in

    1 medium onion chopped

    4 cloves garlic

4C water (pour into plastic bag and get rub residue off)

1 TBS liquid smoke (find in gravy aisle)

Cook on high all day. It?s ready when it falls apart with a fork. Set liquid aside and allow pork to cool. When cool, pull it apart with a fork and put it back in the crock.

Add your favorite BBQ sauce and some of the leftover liquid to cook until it?s moist.

  • here is mine:

    2 pound pork butt

    3 cloves of garlic

    1/2 cu brown sugar

    1 tspn chili powder

    salt and pepper

    1/2 apple cider vinigar

    1/2 water

rub meat down with chopped garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper, and chili powder while it is in the crock pot.  then pour in the liquids, turn the crock pot on high for 3-4 hours, low for 5-6 hours.  remove meat and shred with a fork.  pour your fave bbq sauce over it.  YUM.

  • I'm super lazy.

I throw the pork in the crockpot and dump a whole thing of BBQ sauce in with it.  After 6 or 8 hours I'll shred the pork and let it sit for another hour or so.

Everyone always tells me how yummy it is.

Oh yeah, the McCormick slow cookers packet works pretty good, too.  And it's easy, with only a few ingredients. You can pick it up at the store (in the spice aisle) and see what else you need to buy.
