Dear State of Delaware,
I hate you. You chose THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING to add EZ pass lanes? What brand of stupid are you? Do you realize that there are reports of 20 mile back ups into MD? Now I have to work from home tomorrow so I don't sit in a 6 hour traffic jam. Which would be fine, except I need to call NJ from my home phone that doesn't have free long distance. And you morons have told me to expect delays from this morning until NEXT TUESDAY. I'll shove your tax free shopping right up your arses if I'm sitting in a traffic jam next Tuesday afternoon. Just sayin.
Regards,
The Person who lives 9 miles from the DE state line
Your turn!
Re: Dear...
Dear Pollen,
I understand that without you I wouldn't be able to gawk at pretty flowers and much of nature as we know it would cease.
Nonetheless, I freaking HATE you right now.
Sincerely,
Allergy ridden Ali
Yeah...I posted the Baltimore Sun article on my other FB account. GROAN. To be honest, it's the #1 reason we decided to stay home for Thanksgiving.
The DE toll is always bad, but this is the first year that DE has issued a statement telling people to avoid the toll at all costs.
Dear Mother Nature,
I am looking at a 10 hour drive tomorrow in holiday weekend traffic. If you even *think* about making it rain on top of the already crappy traffic, I am going to throat punch you.
LTB - that totally blows with the traffic situation. I'm hoping to avoid traffic drama tomorrow, as I'm pretty prone to road rage.
That sounds heavenly! I know I've asked you before, but where in MT are you? I almost moved to Hamilton a few years ago and still kick myself every time I think about it. I
MT.
Dear TSA-
I get why people must give up freedoms for the greater safety for others-- but ..and this doesn't even affect me because we aren't traveling- but I saw a video of a 12 year old boy get strip searched.....
Stop It.
- possible Vehicle vacationer from now on
Dear Liv-
If I don't get a job soon- you may not get to live far past Christmas....I love you but you wear me out!

Yeah, there is construction on Rte 40 at the bridge that crosses into Cecil County. Route 1 would be a nightmare, I'd have to either take 95 or 40 North into DE to get to route 1 only to loop back around to get on 95 or 40 S to go home.
Which is why I'm skipping out of work 6 minutes early and leaving now.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
I just read an article yesterday about how that was taken totally out of context. Apparently the boy beeped in the metal detector and his father pulled his shirt off of him to "make it easier on them". I dunno which perspective I believe, but I do believe that the media is making a WAY bigger deal out of this than it needs to be.
Dear Pimple on the End of my Nose,
Thanks for popping up right now during the holiday season, just when Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer plays on the radio practically on repeat. Quite fabulous timing.
Signed,
Ali the Red Nosed Raindeer
I agree whole heartedly about the media blowing it up .....I get so sick of hearing it..... but being a mom makes me not even want to test out the truth to that scenario...... what are the official age ranges where your kids can't get checked? 4 and under?

I think I read somewhere that it's 12. I'm not sure. I totally feel ya on the kids thing, though. If people would just stop trying to boycott the scanners, that wouldn't be an issue. I dunno... we haven't flown out of an airport that uses them yet, so I'm not sure how I feel about it all... H and I did get felt up pretty badly in the airport in Amsterdam, though. Seems to me like the US is the only country where people make such a big effing deal over it. But I digress... that's not what this thread started as. :-)
Dear Mother Nature -
Thank you for the 5+ inches of snow since last night since it will help open up the ski hills soon, but really I don't feel like cleaning up snow through Thursday. Can we please see the sun soon? Its been too long.

Dear WalMart,
Crazy a$$ people at WalMart. I knew it would be a bad idea shopping there today, but seriously?!?! No parking, crazy impatient people, and slow checkout lines. Ugh...makes me want to rip my hair out.
Signed,
Mrs. Annoyed, but will still continue shopping at WalMart because it's cheap.
