I'm feeling extra positive for some unknown reason this morning...Since not everyone will be working tomorrow to play, let's do this today.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? (If you're Canadian, what were you thankful for a month or so ago?
)
Re: I am thankful for...
I am thankful for:
- A loving husband and a great marriage
- A stable job with great benefits and decent pay (although I'm not always thankful for having to wake up and go there...)
- A supportive family and group of friends
- Being able to travel to be with my family for Thanksgiving after all
- My little niece. She was an accidental pregnancy for my sister, but I can't imagine my life without her. I'm so excited to go home and see her!
I'm sure there are more, but I'm a little brain dead this morning...
I am thankful for my amazing husband and his equally amazing family and can't wait to spend Thanksgiving with them this year.
I am thankful that we are able to buy a new house!
I am thankful to have a job and not be in debt
sunshine, thanks for doing this! i think sometimes people only focus on the negative (myself included, big time!) and we need to look at the bigger picture and see the positives in our lives that we are thankful for.
end sappiness.
except to say that every thanksgiving we go around and say what we are thankful for before we eat.
my list:
-a happy and healthy marriage
-healthy friends and family
-jobs with healthcare and decent pay (well, at least for me! not g so much...)
-my new macbook pro that i will get on friday
-and although this will be a tough thanksgiving because it will be the first one without my grandma (whose birthday is thanksgiving, or would have been this year), i am thankful for all of the years that i got to celebrate with her. and i am thankful that she is at peace finally and in heaven with my grandpa (ok, again, end sappiness.)

You're welcome! I was actually a little irritated at K being negative on the way to work this morning and killing my happy buzz, so I had to make it positive in here to keep me going. :-)
We also go around the table and say what we are thankful for before eating. Which almost always ends in someone crying - in a good way, I mean. My grandma always tells us we'll choke on our food if we start eating without being thankful for something. ha ha.
I'm thankful for...
- A job that I love and that I'm 99% sure is paying for me to go back to college.
- a great marriage.
- caramel macchiato creamer.
- my fuzzy fat kitty.
- my family for driving an hour to visit me on Sunday for our Thanksgiving.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
Lately I've been feeling negative and depressed- so I started doing a list of 5 things every day. I did t every day last week and then this week I posed this very question (about what are you thankful for) on my FB.
I've been feeling a little better since doing these lists every day

you can check out my FB for this -- if you haven't already
Datsyuks & Ferdy- We Go Together Like...
On FB, my cousins have been doing Attitude of Gratitude for each day this month. I love reading theirs, but never did one myself.
I'm thankful for:
My wonderful husband, who is way too good to me sometimes (he went out and got dinner last night cuz I was starving and he had cabin fever)
My family and friends
The best pugFace ever
Books, music, TV and the internet
My job (even though I hate it, I have made some great friends, learned a lot, and it's helping me climb out of debt)
A working car
The ability to eat whatever I want, whenever I want (double edged sword, but I'm still grateful to not be starving or have to go to bed hungry like the old days)
TTC since 2010
Me: 36, slightly elevated FSH. Everything else (hysterescopy, HSG, b/w) normal.
DH:30, with super sperm? >200mil post wash

I am thankful:
-to be married to a wonderful man.
- for our dogs, especially when they are realy cuddly or protective. Not so much when they annoy the crap out of me, but...
- to have a house to live in... it may not be the ritz, but it is what works for us right now.
- to have at least SOME supportive family members... without whom we would be moving to timbuktu like NOW.
Thanks sunshine, I have been easily annoyed and in a crappy mood lately. It's good to force yourself to think about the good things.
Things I am thankful for
-My kick ass family for always, always being there.

- Amazing friends that support me, love me and keep me in check.

-All the snow that just hit Tahoe.

- getting a "for sale" website done today so I can finally try and get some of this wedding stuff out of the house and get a little cash in my pocket.
- My best friend, my husband. Without him I don't think I would be sane.
- Our dog Timber. He's a pain sometimes, but I love him endlessly and he makes me smile everyday.
- Our family and friends. And our friends who are like family.
- Pumpkin cheesecake. I'm making it tomorrow to take to Thanksgiving and I hope no one else eats it so I can have it all!!! muahhahahahaha.
- My wonderful husband, who puts up with my crazy mood swings
- My family, even though they're crazy you gotta love them
- That we both have jobs and even though mine sucks, it could be worse
- That I am happy with my life. Even though I would like to have more money, a bigger house, and so on, there are people out there who are worse off than I am. I should never take what I have for granted.
Oh crap, Thanksgiving always makes me so emotional!
I am thankful for:
- my wonderful husband who treats me like a princess

- my health
- my wonderful life - DH and I are homeowners with stable jobs, health insurance, and everything we need to live very comfortably. I know we're very lucky.
- for my family. we're dysfunctional - what family isn't in some way? - but I love them and can't wait to spend the holidays with everyone!
The pumpkin cheesecake factory one? Thanks to your tip I found the recipe and I'll be making it tomorrow too!

i am thankful that i have a roof over my head and food to eat.
i am thankful that i have a car that works that gets me to a job that has insurance (a job i may not like, but its a job just the same).
i am thankful for dons family that live close by, my mom who likes an hour away, and all my crazy extended family that live all over the US.

i am thankful that don has a job this holiday season (last sept he lost his job).
My two friends live in Truckee and I just saw their pics on FB. So not ready for that! I hope they can make it out here ok, they're supposed to fly in tonight.
- Thankful and grateful for my husband. James has always treated me like a queen since our first date and he is my rock.
- My family - two of my cousins had babies this year and couldn't be happier for them. Two other cousins also got married this year too and couldn't be happier.
- My in-laws - I heart my MIL and FIL and my BIL's. And can't wait to go to the IL house on Turkey day.
- My job - although I gripe about it and want to move on, I'm grateful for a steady paycheck, my boss and most of my co-workers
I'm also thankful that James was able to find a better full time job than what he had earlier this year.
