How was your weekend?

wow...this board is super slow!

How was everyone's weekend? Do anything exciting? Mine was nice, but nothing too exciting. Friday I had a baby Dr. appt. and am happy to say LO turned into the correct birthing position...no more transeverse breech for her. Hopefully, she stays that way 'til delivery.

Saturday I took a tour of the hospitals L&D I'm having her at (believe it or not, I worked in that hospital for 9 years and was never in their L&D department lol). I really like it...I think even more than the one I work in. hehe After that, DH and I went to his sis's for dinner.

Sunday I went x-mas shopping with momma, but crapped out after about an hour or so. My back hurt and my leg was going numb quite often 'cause she's sitting on a nerve. It happens when I'm standing too much or if I lay on my back. ooh the joys of pregnancy. hehe

Anyway, enough of my rambling. It's Monday and another week begins, but thankfully it's a short one (hopefully for all) and Wed. is my last day of work for at least 6 months (I'm hoping to take 9 months, but we'll see if they'll give it to me).

Have a great week all!

Re: How was your weekend?

  • Hey Bonnie!

I am so glad that you are doing well and that the baby moved out of breech!  Sorry about your back and leg? boo!  I can?t believe you are almost there.  ;-) I can?t wait to see pics when she arrives.

My weekend was fun.  My sister had a bachelorette party on Saturday, so she drove up early for Thanksgiving and dropped my 3 yr old niece off for us to babysit for the weekend.  We had a fun sleep over on Saturday night.  On Sunday, my parents and I  took her to the city for lunch and to see her first puppet play!  It was so cute.  (I highly recommend John Tartaglia's Imaginocean for little kiddos.) My Niece loved going to the city for the day. She clapped SO hard for the puppets at the end of the show- adorable!  But man, I am exhausted! Keeping up with a 3 year old is crazy.  I don?t know how you Mammas do it!

It?s a short 2-day work week for me.  Wednesday and Thursday, I?ll be cooking all day.  Friday, I have an annual homecoming brunch with my best girlfriends from high school.  One of them just proposed to her girlfriend, I am so excited to celebrate with them!

    Have a great week ladies!

  • there was a weekend?  Believe it or not, I really can't remember what I did!

Oh, I went to the JETS game!!!!!  Stayed 'til the end.  Amazing!

  • So glad for you that the baby moved - but that really stinks about the pinched nerve feeling. You poor thing! I hope that passes really soon.

The weekend was uneventful. Seriously. LOL

I have school on Saturdays. One class, I took a test, and got the results immediately also got back a test from the previous week. I got an 120 and a 110 so I was pretty excited. The following class, I received a paper back (that I quite honestly was SO rushed to write, and I felt it wasnt my best work - and he's SUPER picky) and I got an A, so Im happy.

Sunday, I just lounged around the house - I needed to do nothing. Then I made a huge Italian sauce with all kinds of meat in it. AMAZING.

Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker ...here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
  • Thanks girls!

Jenn, I'm glad you had a nice time with your niece! =)

Congrats Alisha on a great job with your tests and paper!
