This Officer came to take Chris' statement, and finger print his truck.
He asked if we had dogs, we said yes they didn't bark.. He said "Well, it's time to shoot your dogs and get new ones."
Oh, okay.
That and some other things he said.. I couldn't wait for him to leave.
Re: This cop was an idiot.
He made quite a few stupid comments.
I mean, I know $200 is not a lot of money, but still, these kids/whoever violated our privacy. It's his job to take police reports. He was not as nice as the Officer that came to my car (but i'm a girl).
Before I get yelled.
I respect their job, I know they deal w/ idiots all day long. But they also need to be compassionate towards innocent people who've been violated.
What he said was inappropriate.
My reply would have been....."so you can come out here for a barking dog?? OR would you rather me keep my dogs inside in our house so they are not barking all night!! PS officer do you know this is a 2 story house MY dogs may not hear what goes on in the driveway!! "
Agreed. He sounds like an a-hole.

We just laughed, and told him they usually bark at everything, and I do mean everything.
I told Chris I didn't like the Officer.
I get that it was *only* $200 out of Chris' truck, and there were really no prints on his truck.. but still. We were not the only ones in the area to have stuff stolen so obviously this is bigger then just our $200, a few ipods and a GPS.
