Re: Black Friday
We go every year, but this year we'll be in NYC, so we'll probably just go to a few stores in the morning and then enjoy the city. I know DH wants to go to the big Brooks Brothers there.

We (me, my mom, aunt & sisters) typically leave about 7AM and don't come back until the stores close. I doubt I'll make it that long being pregnant this year, but hoping to hold on for as long as possible!
Ditto. There aren't really any big items that we've seen we need. Also, we just bought a super nice camera (like as in today, H just went to pick it up), which is our present to each other. The photo store started their sale yesterday, so very nice that we don't have to fight crowds for that!

My family will be in town, but I have to work Thursday and Friday and I am in a parade on Sunday (
) so we have very limited shopping time. Stepmomster told me today that she wants to go "just for a bit" on Black Friday. Um, it will take us that long just to find a parking space!
Oct.'13 Siggy Challenge: Cheers to Easter!
The mall I work for does a big celebration on Black Friday to start the Holiday Season. Santa does his big entrance, we have the Grinch this year, yada yada yada - I will miss it all because there is no way I'm going near a mall. No way, Jose.
I am considering going to either Target, Wal-Mart or Best Buy if we see an awesome price on a TV in the sale ads.

This. I've been looking at the ads, but there's nothing appealing to me this year.
I would love a new TV (we still have a round screen), but not right now.
My friends are in town from NC and they want to "do something."
Ugh.....
Not sure I'll be shopping, depending on teh weather, we may just go into Olde City Philadelphia.
We did a double-decker bus tour of Philly last year.
I hate entertaining. WTF am I goin to do with these people.
The wife suggested heading into NYC......ugh.......double ugh.
If my NC friends hadn't moved to Iowa this fall I would have asked you if we knew the same peeps...our guests from NC insisted on going BF shopping. I slept in.
I love how for tourists it's fun & for us it's work.
