How did your reveal to your Stepmom go? Was she so excited?

It went pretty good. J and I were waiting for our luggage at the baggage carousel when they came in to see us, and I turned around and said hello. I could tell she thought something might be up with how she looked at me, but was too afraid to say anything because she knew we had been trying. So afterwards, we went to dinner and I ordered water and she asked me "No margaritas like old times?" and I said "I can't really have alcohol right now", but she didn't say anything. I didn't tell her because J said he wanted to tell her, so I was waiting for him to say something, but he didn't.
We got to the house and she was on her laptop and I was telling J "we need to tell her, it's not fair to keep this from her", and so he said "Hey we have another surprise for you" and she said "What's that?" and he said "LoLo's pregnant". Her response? "I thought something was up when she ordered water and not a margarita at dinner".
Her response was kind of what I expected. She's not one to gush about anything, but she is happy for us and excited, she's just not the jump-up-and-down type, which I understand. She was asking me about the pregnancy while we were there and all kinds of other questions, so I know she's excited for us.
Thanks for remembering that. I can't believe I forgot to tell anyone!
