Are they REALLY fingerprint proof? I have a hard time thinking of spending so much money on a trash can when I can buy a plastic Rubbermaid for under $20.
Re: Simplehuman trash cans
I have two. They are easy to clean, change bags, they look good sitting out, etc. Fingerprint proof ? sure i guess I only ever touch mine when I clean them (splashes from the shower, kitchen dirt) I have a butterlfy top slimline in the kitchen and a small one in the bath, both with foot pedals.
I say go for it, but then again I got one as a gift, and found one on the clearance rack at bed, bath, beyond for 14$ bucks - it didn't have a box (my lucky day) I would buy one in the future If i ever need to.
Like pp mentioned check bed bath and beyond clearance sections, you can score a great deal there if you find one.
FP ? I never touch mine unless im cleaning it. I own the 50L rectangular best purchase I made for the kitchen, its huge! I also have semi round 6L in the bath. I love the their liners but do use hefty brand with mine as well.
