Silly I know but I am excited!!
I know you all were to young well most of you are to young and probibly not born yet when Princess Diana got married. It was a magical day! I remember watching the wedding as a little girl and dreaming someday my prince would come. That being said...
I can't wait for April 29th to watch the wedding of Prince William! My girlfriend and I are planning a party to celebrate!
I know I am a dork but I am totally excited and so happy for them!
Re: Silly I know but I am excited!!
you guys are too cute. i'll probably check out the pictures and such.
I don't remember Princess Diana's wedding
I bet all the flights are sold out already for England in April, LOL
I wasn't born yet, but was in love with Princess Diana and wanted to be just like her with helping everybody. I was also in love with the princes' and thought that one day I would marry one of them. Guess that won't be happening anytime soon.
I will definitely be watching whatever they show on TV for Prince William and Kate's wedding.
Considering I was born in 1984 I don't remember Di and Charles' actual wedding day but I remember seeing all kinds of footage and pictures of it growing up. I absolutely LOVED her (I mean... who didn't) and that train was for serious ridonkulous!
I'm pretty excited for Kate. I mean, that girl has hung around for EIGHT years for this guy! And without the Queen's approval really! (she's not a huge fan of Kate) But I cannot WAIT to see her dress! I know that it's going to be absolutely UH-MAZING!
It's kinda sad that she won't have much more say than that in the details of the wedding though. Pretty sure the crown will be controlling that! But she'll totally prolly get to wear a REAL royal tiara borrowed from the Queen!!!! I'm not a tiara girl but c'mon! It's the ROYAL JEWELS!!! Holy crap!
So... long story short. I, too, am excited Pam.
April 29th, eh? That's crazy... it'll be two days before our wedding anniversary!
I wasn't born yet when Di and Charles got married, but I remember reading somewhere that people got up in the middle of the night to watch the wedding live. I will totally do that for this wedding if necessary. I never really "got" the whole Diana thing (I was homeschooled, didn't have a ton of friends, and we didn't really watch TV), but Kate is gorgeous and I hope that she has a wonderful day.
I feel sort of sorry for her, though. I mean, goodness knows that I had enough people telling me what I had to do and what I couldn't do for a wedding, and I'm just me! When it's a royal wedding, you must have to resign yourself pretty quickly to just following directions and playing your role. Also, I would not want an engagement ring that was a hand-me-down from one of the most miserable marriages in recent public memory, no matter how beautiful the ring was or how wonderful my fiance's mother was. Just sayin'.
