  I made J get all the totes out of the attic this week. We will probably put up lights and everything this coming weekend. Our tree won't go up for a couple weeks because we get a real one.

  I am SO excited to do this, but it won't happen until next weekend since we're going to Michigan this weekend. I love picking out the tree and decorating it while listening to Christmas music and drinking hot chocolate.

  The tree is already up. We did Amelia's 6mo pics and holiday pics on Sunday so we put it up to have in the background. Other decorations may go up this weekend if I am ambitious.

  I'll probably get started on Sunday, but the bulk will probably be next weekend. We haven't discussed the tree situation yet (real vs. fake). Last year, it went well with Rufus (only 1 ornament casualty and I blame DH for leaving a 4 month old puppy alone in the living room!!).
  

  We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  We get a real tree; but I'm a little hesitant b/c DH will be gone all next week for work reasons.

  I'm hoping to this weekend. We have a fake pre-lit tree but DH thinks for Ayden's first Christmas we should get a real tree. So hopefully I can get the other decorations up and then get the tree a little closer to Christmas.

  This weekend.  Instead of Black Friday shopping we go to the tree farm and cut down our tree.  It is one of my favorite holiday traditions!  We are very picky tree hunters, so it is an all day event.....
