Prince William's wedding
I just had to share my stupid moment yesterday...
I was half listening to the news yesterday morning on my drive in to work when they announced the wedding date for Prince William's wedding. I don't even remember the date, but it was a Friday...and my first thought was, "Oh, they might get better deals getting married on a Friday rather than a Saturday."
Then I laughed at myself...duh...they probably aren't worried about saving a few dollars having it on a Friday, you know, since it is also going to be a national holiday and all...

Before I heard that it was a Friday, my first thought was, "I wonder if they kicked some other couple out of Westminster Abbey for that date". Then I realized that they probably did the Friday since it was probably available. I imagine Westminster Abbey must be a popular venue!

I assumed (which means I could be way off) they were doing it on a Friday bc they wanted to make it a National Bank Holiday and close everything down. If it was on a weekend, things would already be closed ??? (is that a dumb guess?)
