Turkey Trot. Who's doing it? (Jena and Moonstone, question)
Does that sound gross to anyone else? I get the image of a Turkey pooping all over the dinner table saying "YEAH! SUCK ON THAT!" 
Anywho, anyone else doing it tomorrow?
J and M: I am going to TJ Maxx to get running shorts/capris since mine apparently like my ankles better than my hips. What brands should I look for?

I got my running shorts from Target, C9 brand, I love them.
the ladies on H&F rave about Nike Tempo shorts. I don't know what TJ Maxx will have. I have gotten an under armour wicking shirt from there, but never any shorts.
I think you would be fine w/ any type of shorts. Moony seems to enjoy capris (thats all I've ever seen her run in)
.. I don't like them unless it's cold.

You mean jog/walk/hobble?
I am hoping for under 40 minutes. lol. After that crap with my adviser the other night, I am so... idk. Intimidated.
That advisor is in a tiny, itty bitty eensey weeney small group of people that can run that fast. like really.
I can almost promise you there will be no runners there running sub 5 miles, and IF there are.. don't feel bad, they are freaks.
I'm sure it's a big race, so there will be a lot of different runners @ different levels. You will be fine, and you will do great.
Your advisor was probably part Kenyan.
