Clicky Poll: What Should I Do For Lunch ??
Because this board is dead lately, and I can't decide.
Background: So, it's the day before the holiday. Typically, my boss will let me leave early, but he's not said anything yet and is currently MIA (but is still here, as evidenced by his coffee cup & computer bag)
I need to go home (25 min drive) at some point today to let the dog out or I'll be facing a mess (literally) when I get home.
But my parents are watching DD today, and are bringing her back to my work at 4:45pm, because it's closer to them than my house is. Make sense?
So... I can either go home at lunch time, 25 min each way. That way, I know the dog gets let out, but... if I rush back to work to be told I can go home, only to drive back home for an hour or so so I can drive back to work to meet my parents.
Or eat at the cafeteria and wait & hope my boss let's me leave early like he usually does before a holiday, then drive home once & chill there until I come back to work & pick up my daughter. Less driving, less stress, but... no guarantees that he's gonna do it.
