anyone have a tankless water heater?
While we are busy gutting our bathroom after the holidays we are SERIOUSLY considering a tankless water heater. I'm not as familiar with them, I understand how they work, etc...but does anyone have one? what has it done for your electric bill? Would you go back to the regular or stick with tankless? why?
Re: anyone have a tankless water heater?
My understanding is they save you a lot of money and are freakin' awesome because it's nonstop, permanent hot water at your disposil.
The problem is they are wicked expensive up front... thousands and thousands of dollars.
hhhmmm...we have found some for our place that are running around the $600-$800 range. For our size home that is more than enough.
CORRECTION: the one we are looking at is $1000 . I was looking at the one DH wants for the camper first! Sorry!
