Hi, Ladies!! Just Checking In
Hi, Ladies!
Mamie sent me a bat signal and said I should pop in. I'm sorry, I haven't intended to neglect you all. I got laid off from my job in June and, since starting my new job in July, I've been S-W-A-M-P-E-D!! There just aren't enough hours in the day, and I don't even have an opportunity to check my personal email while I'm at work. Here's a few things to bring you up to speed...
1) Started new job, which I absolutely LOVE, but work 55 hours per week more often than not.
2) Still haven't really seen much of my husband. We just hit the 1-year mark that he's been away from home, embarked on this intensive training mission. He's now in Florida, and just got an extra 6 months of training added on, which pushes us out to the 2-year mark as a bi-coastal newly-wed couple. Jealous? ...though we did get a whole 9.5 days together last month, so I really shouldn't complain too much.
3) My friend Tiffany moved into our house in July. Her husband is in the Navy too and deployed, so she moved in with her dog, Quincy, so that we'd each be less lonely. Quincy is a mini dachsund that loves Chaz and absolutely loathes Forte. Speaking for Forte, after almost a year, he learned to lay down! Yay, Forte!!!
4) That's really about it. You haven't missed much.
