Yep.. it's my gallbladder. The bad news is that it needs to come out, the good news is that it doesn't need to come out right now. I was sent home with painkillers and the clearance to travel, but I have to watch what I eat (uhh, hello - I do that already!). Basically, we're going to play it by ear until Saturday. If I'm not feeling better and up to walking around at the parks by then, then we'll cancel.

Hopefully the painkillers will work! I had to have mine out several years ago, but I had to wait about a month to have the operation because I was too sick to have it out when first discovered. Just keep away from any greasy or raw foods in the meantime.

Sorry to hear that it's your gallbladder. I guess the good news is that once it comes out, you should feel much better. I hope you get to go on your trip. Thinking lots of good thoughts for you!!

Thanks everyone. With painkillers, I was finally able to sleep in my bed last night, after 4 nights in the recliner. The pain isn't too bad this morning, but I'm feeling nausea. I hope it passes, if not, there's a pill for that too, haha.

On Tuesday when I read your post, I was wondering if it was your gallbladder. I had mine out 6 years ago, but it was an emergency surgery because it was gain green. Good luck and keep us updated. I really hope that you get to go on your trip!
