For a desert. Anything but a pie is what has been requested and I know we've got some great bakers on here, so let me hear them!
Re: Another recipe request
I made this for this year - super easy

I made this last year - it was pretty easy too, and very good

You should make Merin's triffle. It awesome.
1 package brownie mix
1 3/4 cups cold milk
2 (3.3 ounce) packages instant white chocolate pudding mix
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed (I usually use a whole tub)
3 bars chocolate covered toffee bars, chopped (I often use more than 3 bars)
1. Prepare brownies according to package directions. Bake and cool
completely. Cut into 1 inch cubes.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix until mixture
begins to thicken. Fold in whipped topping.
3. In a glass serving bowl, layer one-third of brownie cubes, one-third of
pudding mixture and one-third of candy. Repeat layering until all
ingredients are used. Chill 30 minutes in refrigerator before serving.
I also drizzle chocolate and caramel syrup between the layers, under the crumbled heath. That's optional - but tasty and pretty.
I want this SO bad now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best dessert ever!!!
Are you going to go with Merin's triffle or do you want some other options?
Is there something in particular that you want?
A huge hit for me are Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies.
You just prepare the brownie batter and then stick in premade cookie dough. Bake as directed on the brownie box.
Then take chocolate frosting and melt it, then spred it over top of the baked Brownies. Let set so frosting sets/hardens.
I have a few other ideas too.
Oooh, I love those too!! YUM!
I'm going with Merin's trifle. It is chocolate and the family will be happier with that than the abundance of pies that seem to be arriving.
Angi--I made your Puppy chow and it is delish.
I also made Rock's potato cheese casserole
You'll all be at my table tomorrow
