1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
Stuffing and gravy.
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food?
Turnip, my Mom always makes it.
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving?
I am taking a vacation day, we will celebrate Thanksgiving on Friday instead of Thursday because I have an event at work I can't miss.
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving (ie: watch football, etc)?
If I was at home in the US, we watch the Macy's Day parade and go to a HS football game in my grandparent's town (same team my Dad and all of my uncles played for). Then we usually go to a movie in the evening after dinner and a nap.
5) What are you thankful for this year?
DH surviving another football season with no major injuries this year, my family, my friends and my Marchies!

TTC on hold until December
1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? I love brisket, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green been caserole and spinach rockefeller
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food? I dislike turkey, sweet potatoes of any kind, cranberry, pumpkin pie and other things I'm sure I'm missing
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving? I do! It is one of the few holidays that we get off each year so I'm pretty excited about it.
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving (ie: watch football, etc)? When I was younger I used to "beat up" the cousin next in line younger than me. His siblings used to love it and always make comments each year on how I could take him... now he's an almost 20-year old that is much stronger than me and there is no way I'd win! Other than that, we don't have any real traditions.
5) What are you thankful for this year? So much! With everything that has happened this past year, I'm thrilled that everyone is happy and healthy.
1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? wild rice with gravy
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food? cranberry from a can. I've never liked that crap. However, I did have to buy a can to serve...
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving? YES!
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving (ie: watch football, etc)? When I was younger, we would always go through the newspaper adds to see what the sales were going to be and pick out any potential Christmas presents. Later in the afternoon we would go to the movies. Now, with my husband's family we sit around the house and watch a movie.
5) What are you thankful for this year? I'm thankful that my family and friends are happy and healthy. And for all the wonderful new friends I've made in the last year.
1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
I love just about everything! If I had to pick just one, I would say the turkey. We don't make it much other times of the year so it's a treat!
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food?
Stuffing/Dressing whatever you call it. I don't care if it's in the bird, out of the bird or Stove Top, ick. And gravy. I loathe gravy of any variety!
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving?
I do this year! I have been working tons of overtime, it's a state holiday, and my workload is actually done enough that I can sneak off! Woo Hoo!
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving (ie: watch football, etc)?
Watching the parade, eating to much, and napping!
5) What are you thankful for this year?
Lots! DH, all of the positive things that have happened in my career (even if it makes me insane) and family and friends!
1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
Sweet potato pie, turkey, greens, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls. Pretty much everything
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food?
Deviled eggs
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving?
Yes
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving (ie: watch football, etc)?
Watch the Lions game even though we knew they would lose lol and go to my brother's in-laws. Now, we'll have to start our own tradition since family isn't close.
5) What are you thankful for this year?
Wow so much! I'm thankful that my best friend is my husband now, thankful our families are healthy, thankful we are doing so much better financially and emotionally, and, of course, thankful that Preston is healthy and active!
1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
Turkey. I LOVE TURKEY. It's my favorite food of all time. DH is BBQing ours this year and I'm super excited.
I also really like canned cranberry sauce. There's something "homey" about it that makes me happy and reminds me of my mom.
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food?
Green bean casserole. I really like green beans, but there's something not ok about the mushroom soup.
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving?
Indeed. We'll be packing everything loose into boxes. Yipee for new carpet next weekend!
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving (ie: watch football, etc)?
My maternal grandfather is a direct descendant of a Mayflower passenger, so he'd tell the story of the first Thanksgiving. He'd put kernels of corn by every place setting too, reminding of exactly how much food was available.
5) What are you thankful for this year?
So much! I am still in shock that we are expecting a baby in June. My whole adult life I had been told that I would likely need IVF to get pregnant and that sustaining the pregnancy would be equally challenging. Here we are, 9 weeks in and zero complications. I'm very thankful I married DH, that I have a wonderful family, my friends are loyal and I have my Marchies!
1) What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
Stuffing!!! =]
2) What is your least favorite Thanksgiving food?
Sweet Potato Pie. I just never really cared for it. My sister doesn't like turkey; it's really not a cool holiday for her. And DH doesn't like pumpkin pie. He's weird. (No offense to anyone else who doesn't like it, either!)
3) Do you have off the Friday after Thanksgiving?
Nope! I'm going back to work, unfortunately. DH has Friday and Saturday off, which he just sorta lucked into as the new guy!
4) Are there any traditions in your family on Thanksgiving?
We made sugar cookies last night; mom, sis, and gma were all over to help with cookie cutting and sprinkle decorating. I always try to watch the Macy's Day Parade, too. Other than that, our traditions vary year to year with all of the life changes going on.
5) What are you thankful for this year?
Friends and family, my kitty cat (that I would never believe I'd own, btw, if you had told me a year ago I'd have a cat), and the lives I get to touch and enrich every day at work. I love my residents!
