Dear ...... (add your own)
Dear DH -
I truly do appreciate the fact that you gave me our SUV today rather than the car. But, all of the stuff I needed for today was in the car, so I had to take 5 extra min outside in the cold to transfer my stuff. Then I didn't truly enjoy the fact that as I am leaving at the very last min possible to make it to work on time, I realize that the SUV is totally empty of gas. So now I need to take extra time, in the cold, in my nice work clothes, to fill the truck with gas in order to make it to work. Thanks so much, sweetie!
Love ya!

Dear Jearlyn Steele,
You sing like an angel. Your rendition of This Little Light Of Mine last night absolutely touched my soul and changed me forever. I still get a little goose-bumpy and teary just thinking about it. It was an immense pleasure singing with you.

Jenny
Dear Turkey,
Please cook yourself.
Dear House,
Please clean yourself.
Thank you.

Dear Cold Weather,
Please go away. Snow can stay, but you can leave at any given time.
Dear bff's SD,
thanks for the new playpen that we took for Kael. Did you realize your son was over a year old and didn't have a crib and this playpen was still in plastic? Where did he sleep when you actually HAD him? Oh well, thanks for it, it's beautiful and saves me a ton of money! Hopefully basic training is doing well for you and you come back and WANT to be a part of your son's life. Good luck to you!
Dear Springform pan,
please tell me where I put you when we moved? You seem to be hiding in a very tricky spot!
Thanks! Have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving everyone!
Sincerely,
romarie
HAHA, I love it. Hope you find it :-) You'll probably find it in July when you're not looking for it.
Dear everyday,
Please add and extra hour or two so I can begin a work out routine. The extra pounds I have gained are not cool.
Dear Yummy Coffee,
I was more found of you until you launched yourself onto my new sweater in front of a new resident. Awesome.
XOXO, me
Nicole and Sam 10/3/09
Dear Co-worker,
Please for the love of god and my sanity, STOP TALKING TO YOURSELF!! We work in a very quiet office but your constant whispering to yourself - and full conversations with, ummm, YOURSELF - are getting beyond annoying. You are highly intelligent so there is no need for you to read aloud (if that is what you are doing) or to think that talking back to the Talk Radio Folks is in any way rational or professional.
And please - perhaps if you insist on talking to yourself - at least do so that it is loud enough for me to actually comprehend what you are saying (your muffled muttering are confusing). Maybe then I could say something back and make you realize that YES, everyone can hear you!!
Thanks,
Razamataz
Dear Child-
Please begin to speak and tell me what is wrong? Why have you been a complete bear this week. Your on my last ending nerve.
I love you!
Mom
Dear mother nature,
Please hold off on the snow/sleet/ice until I get home from work tonight. I'd like to make it home safely! Thanks
Dear MN Snow,
Please hold off a bit so we can travel safely to the cities this afternoon! I heard it is already freezing rain down there, so if you can possibly stop while we are driving through, that would be great!
K thanks!

Dear Weather...
Please stop sucking. I have a 5K race to run tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn.
Thank you.

Dear bathrooms,
Yes, I know DH has not installed the new water softener yet, but please, please stop getting dirty daily until he installs the new thing. I'm sick and tired of seeing water spots everywhere and dishes not being clean.
Thank you,
Pattymctatty
And another one:
Dear DH,
Install the water softener before I lose my mind.
Love you lots,
Your Wife
Dear Baby,
I cannot wait to meet you sometime in Mid-February. I love you already.
Love,
Mom
Dear Logic homework,
Please make yourself understandable this weekend. I cannot handle another session of hair-ripping-out-frustratingness.
Thanks!
Dear Film Class teacher,
I think you should cancel class tonight. The roads are going to be crappy and tomorrow is Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Your favorite student :-D
I have 3 weeks left of school until graduation!! So excited and ready to be done.
Dear DH's Grandparents: Please stop asking us if we have "any good news to share" with you as soon as we walk in your front door when we visit. We aren't expecting. We're not trying (yet) and if we were expecting, we'd just tell you and not be all sneaky about it. I know that you're excited about the possibility of being great grandparents and you don't mean any harm, but please please please stop assuming that we want to come visit you just to tell you that. I can't handle the look of disappointment on your faces when we say, again, no - not expecting. We want to visit you just to spend time with you. Is that so bad??
Dear weather gods - please don't let it be so incredibly crappy out that we aren't able to get to the lake for Thanksgiving safely. I'm excited about spending the weekend at the lake and have been looking forward to it for a month. I just want to get there in one piece.
Dear family - thanks for being such fantastic cooks! I miss our parties when we're at DH's family's celebrations because I know what I'm missing. Spending an evening with a glass (or several) of wine and a leisurely meal that is the evening's entertainment is amongst my favorite family activities. You rock and I'm so thankful for you all.
Love, Wittyschaffy
Dear Mush -
Please do not refer to the crack of Dawn, I tend to take it personally.
Fondly,
Dawn
Dear Students,
Yes, it sucks for us too that we have school today. Please shut your mouths.
Mrs. H.
Dear Custodial Staff,
Please turn on the heat.
Thank you,
Mrs. H.
Dear Dad,
Since the moment you and Mom got here yesterday and you've done is go on and on about all the things I haven't done or haven't done the way you want the. It's pretty hurtful and not only are you making me feel bad but you're making everyone else's holiday kind of miserable too.
It's Thanksgiving tomorrow. Could you please chill out and let us enjoy the holiday?
Thanks,
Your daughter
Dear DH's small family owned/run employer:
Please get your SH!T together. We can't afford to go with you when you loose everything you own because you don't have any idea how to run a company. And I can not handle the idea that both of us could be out of a job in the next couple months.
And by the way, DH will NOT be working the next two holidays, whether you grant "permission" or not. Working the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is enough.
Thanks much,
DH's wife.
Dear Employment Fairy:
Please grant DH's wish for a new job, for the reasons mentioned above.
Thanks much,
DH's loving wife
HA! Sorry! Next time I'll refrain...

I first have to say this is the best post ever
Dear Aiden,
Tricking me into thinking you are tired around 8pm (normal bed time) so you can get your milk is not cool. As I think you are using that last cup of milk as a energy drink. I will admit you are supper cute running around all crazy until 10pm but Mommy needs some quite down time Daddy before he falls asleep.
Love Mommy

Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear Co-Workers,
I love you all dearly and truly enjoy each of you....but when we have a deadline of Monday November 22, that means MONDAY NOVEMBER 22, not Wednesday November 24. Yes, I know I have a student teacher and have all the time in the world because she's teaching, but I have to get the order to the business making the shirts before we leave for Thanksgiving break. Oh and when I send an email saying please have all late orders to my room by 10 am, so I have time to calculate our school wide order....it's really going to be hard to keep my comments to myself when you email me and ask me if noon is okay.
Love,
Your Frustrated Coworker
Dear Husband,
Thank you for really stepping up to the plate as we begin our journey as an infertile couple. I wasn't sure how supportive you were going to be to my emotional highs and lows, but you have exceeded my expectations. Now, let's continue this pattern as we move into the Thanksgiving holiday and have to spend time with your brothers, who have a pattern of saying inappropriate and rude comments to me, because they don't like me. Because I'm not sure I can keep acting like the responsible, kind adult much longer.
Love,
Your favorite wife! {and hopefully, your only wife!}
Dear Snow,
Thank you for only adding 15 minutes to my commute home from work. Keep that up for the rest of the people that are traveling for the holiday.
Love,

Dear eyes,

Dear Father Time,
Can we please add a few hours on to the day to get more stuff done?

Dear USA,
Can we please please join the rest of the world and go metric? And may we also stop doing Daylight Savings? I would rather have a little more sunlight in the evening instead of the morning. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.
