I am the Thanksgiving Pirate!
Never thought this would happen! While on my lunch break, I was smoking (I know so bad...) and my cigarette broke in half and the burning part flew right into my eye. My eye was swollen shut and the doctors I work for made me go to the ER. So my afternoon yesterday was spent in the ER. I have a burned cornea and a corneal abrasion. They want me to wear a patch, but I'm not. lol. However my nickname is the Thanksgiving Pirate... fun times.

I got made fun of at work until I went to the ER. Even my one doctor called the ER to tell them I was coming and I heard the ER doctor laughing about it. I was so pissed at him! It's ok he was really cool.
. He gave me a perscription for Norco, even though I wasn't in THAT much pain, but I still filled it just in case.
I'm not in horrible pain now, just very uncomfortable. It feels like there is something in my eye and it's killing me. I can kind of see.
It was funny when I got there they had me do an eye test and was like ok tell me what this line says, I was like ummm DO YOU NOT SEE MY EYE IS SWOLLEN SHUT!
So they numbed it and it opened pretty good, but I couldn't see. Now, I can see a little. Everything is just blurry!
And I was supposed to be the DD last night... I didn't go out, but I'm sure the girls were better off I didn't drive lol.

12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
