Two weeks ago, I had my Mirena IUD removed after having it for 4 years. Finally, I'm feeling more like myself!!! And dang, my husband is sexy! It feels good to feel like myself again! Stupid IUD!

    Fifth Anniversary
    This has been my first week off birth control.  I was on it for the better part of ten years.  I can't wait to find my sex drive.  I am certianly noticing changes.  I was kissing my hubby tonite and went to the bathroom after and I was pretty wet.  I haven't had that happen in years.  Wish I would have thought about what was causing it earlier. I thought it was just me.  Congrats!

    Having no sex drive was terrible for the past four years. I can't tell you how many arguments we had about it. It didn't take long for me to figure out it could be the Mirena. Thank goodness I had the guts to talk it over with the midwife. She was totally understanding and removed it. It took over a week to feel normal again. Now when I look at my hubby - dang! Something has definitely changed. It's great feeling like my pre-baby self in the bedroom. I'm a happy mommy. I bet your sex drive will pick up pretty quickly. Party!!!

    I noticed that too when I went off my nuvaring, and waited about a month or two before switching back to my birth control pills. WOW. Too bad fiance and I were on opposite ends of the state during that time, I am sure he would have LOVED it! :) I also love your siggy! I love the show Bones!!

    twihard - Sorry I didn't see this until now. I don't know if you'll get this. Looks like we're in similar areas. We're just outside of Seattle. I can see the Needle from here, across from Lake WA. :) I love Bones! My fave show. Next to Fringe. :)
